1. Notes when choosing cap size

During rubber production, the material may slightly shrink after vulcanization, so it is important to measure the working size correctly:

• Measure the inner diameter (ID) or thread that needs sealing using a caliper, instead of estimating by eye.
• Ø20H40 caps are usually used for holes with nominal size from 18 – 20 mm, depending on the desired tightness.
• Consult our technical team if the cap is used in high-pressure or high-temperature environments.

2. Rubber cap storage instructions

• Store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight; ideal temperature range is 0 – 40 °C.
• Keep away from strong heat sources and aggressive solvents to avoid premature rubber aging.
