Custom rubber plugs on request

Custom rubber plugs & silicone plugs based on drawings – optimized for domestic production and export.

Technically compliant rubber plug solutions – flexible for any order

Overview & scope of manufacturing

  • C&M originates from Thiệu Cai plastic manufacturing facility (1983), specializing in custom rubber & silicone plug manufacturing.
  • Applicable in high-temperature environments, exposure to oil, solvents, chemicals, abrasion, or where electrical and thermal insulation are required.
  • End-to-end support from material consulting, 2D/3D drawing, mold design to production and delivery.

Quantities & materials

  • Minimum order quantity: from 10,000 – 1,000,000 pieces, depending on desired size and material.
  • Materials: technical rubber (oil-resistant, heat-resistant, chemical-resistant, abrasion-resistant) or medical/food-grade silicone.
  • Can be reinforced with metal or fabric insert to increase stiffness and mechanical strength for special applications.

CLASSIFICATION TABLE OF RUBBER PLUGS WE MANUFACTURE

Classified by working performance to help quickly select the right plug for each real-world application.

NO. RUBBER PLUG TYPE KEY FEATURES COLOR
01 High-temperature plug Heat resistant up to 250°C, used for autoclaves, ovens, industrial heating equipment.
02 Oil-resistant plug Resistant to oil and lubricants, used in mechanical equipment, industrial machines, automobiles.
03 Plug with metal core Metal core increases rigidity and load-bearing capacity, used for vibrating or pressing machinery.
04 Plug with fabric reinforcement Internal fabric reinforcement helps prevent deformation, used for applications with high loads.
05 High-wear-resistant plug Resists physical abrasion and does not deform when subjected to repeated rubbing.
06 Chemical-resistant plug Resistant to acids, alkalis, and strong solvents – suitable for heavy industry.
07 Silicone plug Soft, highly elastic, safe for medical, food, and electronics applications – odorless and clean.

Process flow

Receiving requirements & samples

Customers send samples, design drawings (PDF/2D/3D), images, videos or technical specifications and expected quantities.

Technical consulting & mold quotation

CAM's technical team assesses working conditions, recommends the optimal material, and provides a quotation and lead time for mold fabrication.

Mold design & manufacturing

After signing the contract and paying the mold fee, CAM prepares 2D and 3D drawings for customer approval before mold machining.

Sampling & mass production

Trial samples are produced and adjusted if needed; once the sample is approved, CAM proceeds to mass production and delivers in batches or full lots. Payment is flexible, typically 50% upon order placement and the balance before delivery.

Manufacturing rubber plugs to your specifications

  • Manufacturing any size and shape (round, square, rectangular, chamfered edges, threaded feet, etc.) based on drawings or existing samples.
  • Capable of integrating metal cores, fabric reinforcement, or combining multiple rubber types in a single product.
  • Can print/engrave logos, codes, or markings on the plug surface for easier management and identification.
  • Support in optimizing design to reduce mold cost and weight while still ensuring operational durability.

Learn more about commonly used rubber types

NBR rubber (oil-resistant)

Suitable for environments with oil, grease, and fuel; commonly used for seals, gaskets, and rubber plugs in mechanical equipment.

EPDM rubber (weather resistant)

Resistant to ozone, UV, and outdoor weather; suitable for rubber plugs used in hot, humid outdoor environments.

Silicone rubber

Wide temperature range, clean surface, odorless; safe for medical, food, and electrical/electronic applications.

Natural rubber & other synthetic rubbers

Excellent elasticity and cost-effective; can be compounded with special additives to improve durability, hardness, or abrasion resistance.

Commitments & support policies

  • Lifetime free mold maintenance for molds stored and used at CAM.
  • 1:1 replacement for products with manufacturer defects.
  • Support for splitting mold costs into installments for recurring or long-term orders.
  • Attractive production pricing for large volume orders with stable monthly deliveries.
  • Door-to-door delivery with flexible payment terms of 15–30 days depending on order schedule.

Product conditions & usage guidelines

  • Do not operate beyond the recommended temperature and load range specified for each plug type.
  • Materials are selected to meet the technical standards of each industry, ensuring safety for equipment and operators.
  • Plugs should be checked periodically if used in environments with oil, chemicals, or high abrasion.

Frequently asked questions about rubber plugs

1. I don’t have drawings, only a physical sample – can you still manufacture it?
Yes. Please send us your existing sample; our technical team will take measurements, create 2D/3D drawings and recommend suitable materials before mold fabrication.
2. Will rubber plugs used outdoors age and crack quickly?
For outdoor applications, we prioritize EPDM or rubber grades with ozone and UV resistance to extend product life.
3. Do you accept small quantity orders?
The minimum quantity depends on size and material. Typically from 10,000–1,000,000 pieces per mold; we will advise the most cost-optimal option for each order.
4. How long does it take to complete the mold and deliver the goods?
Mold fabrication usually takes 7–15 working days depending on complexity. After sample approval, we proceed with mass production and deliver based on the agreed schedule.
5. Can I request custom colors for rubber plugs?
Yes. Colors can be customized (black, gray, red, blue, transparent, etc.) to match brand identity or internal standards.
6. Which rubber types can CAM advise on?
We provide free consultation on NBR, EPDM, CR, NR, silicone and more, based on temperature, working environment, load frequency and expected budget.
